Dolomite

Dolomite was discovered in 1791 by Dolomieu the French mineralogist.
Chemical Formula: CaMg(CO₃)₂

Carnotite

Carnotite is a relatively uncommon mineral.
Carnotite is monoclinic.
Chemical Formula: K₂(UO₂)2V₂O₈•3(H₂O)- Hydrated Potassium Uranyl Vanadate.

Calcite:

Chemical Formula: CaCO₃The best property of calcite is the acid test. Because calcite always will effervescence (bubble) when even cold weak acids are placed on specimens. Even the cement in sandstones will effervescence assuring the geologist of identification of the cementing mineral.

Gypsum

Chemical formula: CaSO₄.2(H₂O)- Hydrated Calcium Sulfate.

Gypsum is a very soft mineral composed of calcium sulfate dehydrate
